Guts (Berserk) Vs Part 1 Dio Brando (2025)

A lot of people would think I'm crazy for this, but Dio never moved a whole lot faster than a normal man. Jonathan could keep up with him on an equal plane.
Then there's Guts having superior durability due to tanking multiple lightning strikes that vaporized elephant demons (while non berserk to top it off. Due to the injury being non fatal its easy to believe Guts would be completely unaffected while Berserk)
And Guts moving fast enough to run dozens of circles around a charging rhino demon and cut it into hundred of pieces, which is completely invisible to the normal people there (they just see a flash of gore and viscera), and Guts swinging his 500lb sword fast enough to create sonic booms, makes me liable to give him the speed advantage.

Dio takes it I think, he can flash freeze people. He has space ripper stingy eyes. Can break bones on people like JoJo's casually. He can heal faster then fire can burn and all Other wounds unless it's a complete head destroyer.

Guts also has a hilarious reach advantages due to the aforementioned sonic booms.
You could be anywhere within 8 feet of where his 11 foot reach dead ends and you'll still get mashed.
The Space ripper stinger eyes can only be used in brief bursts, and the Berserker armor is much more durable than any other material seen in Berserk, including Corundum composites.
Who's it to say it couldn't even penetrate?

Due to the speed advantage here (Guts' near mach running speed while under the influence of the armor) compared to Dio's above average speed, I'd say he just minces Dio.
And if it does penetrate? Guts doesn't really care, Dio will have to keep doing it until Guts' entire torso is gone.

Dio was never shown to regenerate limbs.
This is one of the better things about Jojo because Vampires still follow the outline of human anatomy, meaning due to human scabbing methods, they cant regenerate limbs, only reattach them. Like nanomachines from Metal Gear.
Which is why Wolverine is bullshit but I digress.
Guts could just implode Dio's head by swinging his sword within 5 feet of it due to the sonic booms.
The speed and raw durability differences here are incredible.

Again Dio's head exploding from being anywhere near the Dragonslayer being swung means he's dead.

Dio wasn't in part 2. That was part 3.

And yeah he would.

A lot like how Guts would stomp part 1 Dio due to the hilarious speed, reach, and durability differences.
Also to use the freezing power, Dio needs to touch Guts skin, which while Berserk there's none for Dio to touch, with Guts armor completely covering his body.

Did you even read past part 3?
Dio's pretty much the main villain of the entire series.
The main villain of part 6 (Enrico Pucci) was a former servant of Dio, who wanted to fufill Dios dream.

Dude, he physically appears as a main villain like 4 times after that.
He was reincarnated as Enrico's stand, and taunted the Joestars a whole lot while in that form.
Again he's the main villain.
It's like calling any part of the Berserk story the "Griffith saga"
Or any part of 40k the "imperial saga".
They may not physically appear (but they usually do) but their presence is always felt.
That son was also the main character of Part 5 who hears Dio in his head. So....yeah....
